Our accommodation is situated at the foot of Lake Weissensee in the Upper Drautal Valley. You will find yourself at an old manor with spacious premises when you visit us.
You will feel at home because the emphasis here is on family atmosphere.
The bathing lake is around 2 km away. Enjoy access free of charge as our guest. The motto is - "Swimming fun for free"!

The beautiful Lake Weissensee, at 920 m – the highest situated bathing lake in the Alps – is around 8 km away from our Bed & Breakfast guesthouse. The unspoiled nature and the idyllic location make a visit to the lake worthwhile at any time.
Our young guests will be happy without doubt because there is a lot to discover here. Green areas aplenty around the house offer the youngsters lots of free space to play and run around. The tractor ride to the Ochsenschlucht with the grandpa of our house provides excitement for every child.

Accommodation
All our rooms are equipped with shower, WC and satellite-TV. Cooking facilities are provided in the common area, which our guests are welcome to use.
We have of course WiFi connection and you can use this service for € 10,00 per week. A PC is available but you can also surf the net on a laptop in the comfort of room.
A large sunbathing lawn is also at your disposal. How about some cooling down in the well of our house? Bathing in the waters of our own well is tradition and provides fun for everyone.

Double room and single room on the 1st floor
Not to miss; our regular barbecue evenings. Flying schools but also families enjoy the cosy get-together at our romantic summerhouse with view to the Dolomite Alps. Campfire and the sound of the guitar provide fun and entertainment.

Activities around Greifenburg
Flying enthusiasts are welcome here. The flying eldorado "Emberger Alm" is well known in sports flying circles. Our B&B is only 2 km away from the flying camp.
Fishing
Attention, fishing enthusiasts: You have the possibility to fish in the river Drau.
High Rope Garden Greifenburg
Beginner, children, senior and advanced course. Top highlight is the 250 metres long "Flying Fox", which runs across the bathing lake.
Bathing lakes in the surrounding area
Directly in Greifenburg is a 4 ha bathing lake with large sunbathing lawn, diving platform, water slide, trampoline as well as a children's playground. Lake Weissensee, the highest situated bathing lake in the Alps, is only 10 km away.
Walking – Mountain Hiking
Maps of walks are available at the tourist office in Greifenburg and at local specialist shops.
Cycle path along the river Drau
1.244 km of cycling paths, attractive picnic areas and bathing spots complement the offer for cyclists.

Chuting down the water ravines into the deep, jumping, swimming or abseiling down the waterfalls.

Greifenburg has two well-tended clay courts and offers tennis fun for the whole family.

A well-maintained 9-hole facility is located in Berg/Drautal. Season: March/April – end of October.
Experience winter in the Drautal Valley!
Enjoy the amazing winter scenery in the Drautal Valley. Groomed cross-country ski tracks, a short skiing piste in Bruggen and the skiing area of Embergeralm await you. And perhaps you have time to enjoy some fun toboggan rides, curling or for a leisurely winter stroll. You can practice plenty of various winter sports in Greifenburg and the surrounding area.
Skiing & Snowboarding nearby - 500 m away from the guesthouse – at the lift in Bruggen: The alternative for all young winter sport fans!
You can enjoy ice-skating, cross-country skiing, ice hockey, winter walking trails and sleigh rides at Lake Weissensee, the ultimate ice-skating eldorado (only 15 minutes away).
Nassfeld, Lienz and Goldeck are less than 40 km away from Greifenburg and offer everything for ambitious winter sport enthusiasts. You can reach these winter sport destinations within 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour.
